At Lytham St Anne’s Skip Hire, we proudly recycle 99% of all waste we handle. While some assume skips are a catch-all, environmental laws dictate otherwise. Certain items, such as batteries, lithium ion batteries, potentially hazardous or non-recyclable materials, cannot be disposed of in skips. Not to fret! We’ve compiled a list of common prohibited items below for your reference.

These are: Laptops, Chargers, Vapes, Power tools, Oil, Petrol, Diesel, Tyres, Fridges, Freezers, Asbestos, Clinical or Medical Waste (including syringes), Hazardous or Toxic materials, Tins of paint and Gas bottles.
